These Canadian made loose knit wool soakers really are wondefully soft as they are made from a top quality 100% Merino wool that is not only machine washable but you can tumble dry them too, which helps them keep their shape. It is of a loose 'chunky jumper' type knit construction, so is very breathable.

An ideal wrap for summer or winter as it is so breathable it really must be cool to wear as it allows a large amount of evaporation through its structure, yet it forms a perfectly soft waterproof barrier between wet nappy and baby's clothing.

AJz Wonderful Wool Soakers are machine knitted in a double layer between the legs for extra protection and are hand finished with crocheting round the leg so they do not leave elastic marks on the skin. You do need to be careful when putting it on to ensure all your nappy is covered, and also to not put too tight clothing over the top otherwise you may get leaks. Stocks of these are limited. Colours will vary from batch to batch.

Hand or machine wash (30 wool cycle), tumble dry on cool - this helps it return to its original shape. Lanolin Wool Cure treatment will be needed from time to time.

Available in 4 sizes plus Newborn (birth to 3 months approx). Ages approximate guide, these wraps are fairly generously made in height and waist width.

A fine, luxurious woven wrap, of top quality 100% wool flannel with gussetted legs with gentle elastication giving a snug fit. This wrap has the same elasticated waist and wide and deep front furry side of the hook and loop fastening panel as all Imse wraps, ensuring flexibility of fit, and is perhaps a good wrap to choose if you're wanting a similar fit and style to most polyurethane laminated wraps. May be hand or machine washed on cold, it does shrink if the water is too hot! A lanolin/Wool Cure treatment is recommemded every few washes to retain the waterproof properties. Although it is the one of the most expensive wraps in this catalogue, it is without doubt very well made, and will certainly last a long time.

The larger wraps, from Medium, have the addition of a two-position popper closure at the leg, making it more difficult for toddlers to undo. Again with all Imse wraps, this wrap comes in several sizes and the adjustable design means that you will not always need to purchase each size.

Made of 100% pure virgin wool, with IVN Zertifiziert Naturtextil accreditation, we recommend this wrap as one of the most natural to cover your organic nappies if you do not wish to stretch to the expense of the Stacinator. It has no fastenings or Velcro or any synthetic content whatsoever, these traditionally shaped double layer knitted pants are extremley soft and comfortable, having no elastic, relying on the knitted rib at the legs and waist to give a snug fit. When on they look a bit more like shorts, the picture doesn't really do them justice because of the shaping of the legs holes! Very economical, these wraps are extremely good value for those wishing to try a wool wrap for the first time. They do shrink a bit on washing as the fabric 'felts' up but are quite roomy and will fit well over all shaped nappies, however you'll probably need to pin or fasten terries or prefolds to prevent them slipping about. Re treatment with lanolin is recommmended fairly soon after first use. Natural only.

Knitted with wonderfully soft merino blend wool, these 100% pure wool pull on pants are slim fitting, quick drying and machine washable. Available with an elasticated waist, these wraps are designed to be worn on the looser side to avoid squeezing any moisture out through the wrap, so if in doubt about size always order the bigger size. Wool is very breathable and these beautifully knitted wraps are good for both day and night use, although care should be taken to avoid prolonged sitting in the car seat/buggy to avoid the straps causing moisture to wick through. We found they do need retreating with lanolin solution or Wool Cure initially on the first few times of use, but will then last for several washes before being treated again.
