These 'Industrial' prefolds are made in Pakistan or China from woven cotton. They are thicker than most small prefolds available in this country, being 4 layers and the centre panel 8 layers thick. Once washed they will shrink a little and fluff up to give a waffled appearance, and become very absorbent. They are very hard wearing (they are used by nappy laundry services) and will last several babies.

Toddler size fits from about 27lb to about 35lb, being that bit larger all round for bigger babies/toddlers, and also good for heavier wetters.

Wash at 60ºC or 95ºC, tumble dry on hot.

A WRAP is needed with this nappy. Suggested wraps include Prorap, Litewrap, Rikki. Also ideal for stuffing XL or XXL Fuzzi Bunz.

Bamboozle Size 3 Aplix
Exactly the same as the regular Bamboozle, but larger this nappy is made to fit 32lb+ (16kg+) babies

This 'Bamboozle' nappy is made to exactly the same design as the original Tots Bots, but from a short pile bamboo fibre terry, giving a slimmer but very absorbent and more ecofriendly nappy that is light weight and also very, very soft to touch. Bamboo fibre is also a good heat conductor, and coupled with a fleece or wool wrap will make a cool choice for hot weather and overnight.

Bamboo is very highly eco-friendly. It is easy to cultivate, grows rapidly without the need for chemical pesticides or fertilisers, and is highly biodegradable. Bamboo fibre has naturally antibacterial properties and this fabric has been laboratory tested to confirm its antebacterial properties.

The criss-cross texture of bamboo creates microscopic openings in the fibres and gives exceptional moisture absorption. This bamboo fibre has been tested and shows that up to 60% more moisture is absorbed, and yet it dries in reasonable speed. However although bamboo is generally quicker than cotton to dry, you'll find the styling of the Tots Bots with turned and stitched seams will tend to trap the moisture a bit, making this a relatively slow drying nappy, slower than regular Tots Bots. The fabric itself is of 90% bamboo loop pile terry, and as with the majority of terry fabric has a polyester content (10%) in the weave of the backing fabric to give strength and lightness and to aid drying time, and also to retain the appearance of the fabric by preventing the loop pile pulling through

The nappy is nicely elasticated for a good leakproof fit, however do be aware the terry fabric is not as stretchy as the usual cotton terry of Tots Bots. Bamboozles are available in size 3 with Aplix hook and loop fastening only, in the natural colour.

Care should be taken with bamboo nappies to not wash above 60, or dry on top of a radiator or tumble dry too hot as the fibre will tend to 'cook' a bit and the pile becomes more flat and, if you're folding down the front to make this nappy a bit smaller and using a Nappi Nippa to secure or have removed the Aplix will loose its ability to be Nappi Nippa'd easily.

The Bumper is an extra large fleece lined white terry nappy very similar to Bumble only bigger - apart from the fact the booster isn't detachable so there's no inner popper to fold the nappy down onto. Designed to fit from about 30-35lb up to about 40-45lb this nappy is very generously cut, fastens by securing with a Nappi Nippa, good absorbency, flap unfolds from inside the Bumper to provide a quicker drying time. Fleece inner linning forms a pocket with rear opening into which you can stuff exttra absorbency as required. You could fold the front over outwards to reduce the height to fit from perhaps 25lb if economising. The nappy is quick to dry as it opens out yet nicely absorbent though extra padding may be added as required.

Ella's House Bumhugger Toddler

Bumhugger nappies are made in the far north of Scotland from a soft natural coloured hemp fleece fabric for maximum absorbency and minimum bulk. Inside is a hemp soaker pad, hemp provides better absorption for its weight than cotton, giving a neat slim nappy. It is also more enviromentally friendly to grow as it can be cultivated without chemicals as it is very resistant to disease and tends to outgrow weeds whereas cotton will usually require a lot of spraying for both weed control and pests (unless organic). The inside of the nappy is lined with polyester fleece to keep your baby's skin dry: we have a choice of fleece colours: purple or blue are our main stock items but we do also have an assortment of others from time to time.

The legs have gentle elastic, giving a good leakproof fit, fastening with assorted co-ordinating coloured poppers or Aplix hook and loop fastening.

This nappy is quite high in the rise, and coupled with very good absorption, fleece stay dry layer and less bulky hemp it is a good choice for night time. At this age, many prefer poppers to Aplix as they are harder for a baby to undo.

Made in the Scottish Islands by Minki, this appropriately named nappy gives the impression of a thick fluffy and cuddly nappy - and this nappy is just that. Made from very thick 100% Egyptian cotton with a long loop pile, this is a thick and luxurious feeling nappy that washes well and remains relatively soft. This is a thick and quite bulky nappy - but for that you do get very good absorbency, an ideal night nappy. The Huggle has good elastication at the waist and legs giving a neat fit and good containment. Huggles fasten with a row of poppers on the front, and are available in a random selection of mainly pastel colours. I would guess the fabric is actually the same as used in the manufacture of high quality bath towels, and thus if you think of the range of colours available in towels those are the sorts of colours of the Huggle.

This nappy is a pouched nappy - the inside of the nappy is lined with cream polyester fleece to keep baby's skin dry, and there is a fold out flap to aid drying speed accessed through a slit in the fleece at the rear of the nappy. Should you need to, you could add boosting in this pouch, although they are so absorbent the majority will not need to do this. This nappy, being extremely absorbent and with the option of adding extra padding, plus the fleece stay-dry liner makes this nappy a good overnight choice although very bulky for daytime.

Wash at 60, can be tumble dried. I should warn you the Huggle is one of the slowest drying nappies, and takes a very very long time to dry without a drier, perhaps up to 2 days. The colours are colourfast after the first couple of washes, for some of the darker or brighter colours I'd suggest after perhaps 4 or 5 washes.

Colours are assorted, we get a random selection each time we order and thus we offer a choice of any colour, assorted colour without pinks/peach/lilac or assorted colour without blues to assit your choices. The Minki Yoyo has been designed as a fun, versatile pull up trainer pant/night time pant. It has stretchy Lycra at the sides enabling it to be pulled up by your child as well as poppers (should a messy accident occur it makes them easier to remove). The fleece inner pouch can be stuffed to the required thickness for the amount you child wees - a little for daytime use when almost toilet trained or fully stuffed for a big night-time wee.

You can stuff your Yoyo with a variety of things to make it as slim or as absorbent as you choose and you can change the level of absorbency depending on your requirements, so it's an ideal choice as a trainer pant as you can start off with lots of absorbency and then reduce it as required, but also pad it out a lot as a night nappy once toilet trained by day. This means you should get a lot of use out of this nappy.

Mother-ease All-In-One XLarge

The Mother-ease All-In-One Nappy has the same styling as the Air Rika wrap, with elastic all round and popper fasteners at the waist and leg with side venting in a very similar style to the Sandys nappy. Less thick than some of the other nappies listed in this section, the Motherease All in one looks relatively neat when on.

The waterproof outer is made of the same breathable polyester bonded to urethane as the Mother-ease wraps, inside this nappy is the same stretch terry towelling as the Mother-ease and Sandys nappies in 100% cotton. These nappies are generally a very good leakproof fit compared to most all in ones, and are extremely popular as a daytime nappy as they are easy to use, particularly for childcare/nurseries. Boosting will be needed for extra absorbency, particularly for overnight and heavy wetters.

For slim toddlers it may be pulled up and down, which may be an advantage for potty training.

Made of the same stretch terry inner and polyurethane lamiante outer as their nappies and wraps, these ultra-thick one-piece pull on pants also have a sewn in flap that is only attached at the ends to aid drying, which is slow anyway due to the thickness of this product. Designed to stem quite a large wee such as one might encounter at night, these pants come in larger sizes that will fit from toddler up to around 5-6 years depending on build. These pants are ideal for those small children that have regular accidents at night. Boosters can be added for extra absorbency if required. Suggested quantity 2-3 to allow for drying.

These night-time absorbent pants fasten towards the rear with poppers, allowing an inch of adjustment, yet look like pants from the front. They have soft elasticated waist and thighs. Made of soft PUL polyurethane laminate waterproof outer with an inner of 4 layers of microfibre terry between the legs, these are a nice, lightweight, not too bulky nightwear with good capacity and relatively quick to dry as the microfibre being man-made holds the moisture between the fibres and thus will spin relatively dry in your washing machine when compared to a natural fibre. However, do be careful not to use too tight pyjamas over the top as this can encourage leaks.

Available in 4 sizes, the measurements are as follows:

Rise = from belly button through crotch to back waist.

Sides - The length from side waist to the top of hip where top of the leg of the pant will sit at the side

Waist - the size of waist

Leg - measured around where the elastic of underwear would fit.
