Stretch Bamboozle from Tots Bots BagKit (TM), with Motherease Rikki Wrap

This 'Bamboozle' nappy is made to exactly the same design as the original Tots Bots, but from a short pile bamboo fibre terry, giving a slimmer but very absorbent and more ecofriendly nappy that is light weight and also very, very soft to touch. Bamboo fibre is also a good heat conductor, and coupled with a fleece or wool wrap will make a cool choice for hot weather and overnight. Bamboo is very highly eco-friendly. It is easy to cultivate, grows rapidly without the need for chemical pesticides or fertilisers, and is highly biodegradable. Bamboo fibre has naturally antibacterial properties and this fabric has been laboratory tested to confirm its antebacterial properties. The criss-cross texture of bamboo creates microscopic openings in the fibres and gives exceptional moisture absorption. This bamboo fibre has been tested and shows that up to 60% more moisture is absorbed, and yet it dries in reasonable speed. However although bamboo is generally quicker than cotton to dry, you'll find the styling of the Tots Bots with turned and stitched seams will tend to trap the moisture a bit, making this a relatively slow drying nappy, slower than regular Tots Bots. The nappy is nicely elasticated for a good leakproof fit, however do be aware the terry fabric is not as stretchy as the usual cotton terry of Tots Bots. The Bamboozle nappy is now only available with Aplix hook and loop fastening. Care should be taken with bamboo nappies to not wash above 60, or dry on top of a radiator or tumble dry too hot as the fibre will tend to 'cook' a bit and the pile becomes more flat and, if you're folding down and using a Nappi Nippa to secure or have removed the Aplix will loose its ability to be Nappi Nippa'd easily.
