Kushies (formerly Kooshies) Ultra are an Aplix hook and loop fastening All-In-One cotton flannelette shaped nappy, with 5 layers of cotton flannelette and 2 hidden layers of polyester/rayon soaker pads, all in a waterproof vinyl coated polyester outer. Two bands of Aplix loop for multi position fastening, elasticated around the legs ensuring good fit. No wrap needed. Inner flap can be folded to suit boy/girl and unfolds for easier drying. As the style is similar to a disposable, this nappy is very easy to put on, especially if a wriggly baby. One of the most easy to use washable nappies, and recommended for days out. However, the waterproof outer does restrict drying speed; even in a tumble dryer this nappy can take a long time to dry. Wash at 40 or 60ºC and tumble dry on cool, however longevity is reduced by tumble drying The absorbency of this nappy is medium, boosters recommended for nights and heavy wetters. This nappy will last at least 1 child with care but tumble-drying can reduce this to around 120 washes. Usage tips: Pad out with one or two booster pads to fit a smaller/thinner baby, you may find this will help reduce leakage from the leg holes.
