This nappy isn't really a true all in one, as the waterproofing layer is hidden, sandwiched between two layers of soft brushed cotton flannelette. This means that when the inside absorbent nappy part gets very wet, the moisture will wick round to the outside rather than be contained in the nappy, hence the need for an outer wrap particularly for longer periods, car journeys and the like. This nappy is wider between the legs than the well known Kooshies Ultra, and is often a much better fit and more absorbent because of this, however the vast majority of people do not use this nappy as an All In One because it simply doesn't usually work as one unless you have a light wetter.

Aplix hook and loop fastening shaped nappy, comprising 8 layers of soft 100% cotton flannelette with hidden waterproof layer, so only soft flannelette is in contact with baby’s skin: this gives it a slightly wider crotch than the Ultra. Elastic at the sides ensures a good fit. A waterproof wrap (see The Wraps) is not always required, but one is definitely recommended for longer periods especially outings, night time and car journeys because the wet can wick through from the inner layer to the outer layer. You'll also need to use a wrap if you have a heavy wetter. The inner flap can be folded to suit boy/girl, and unfolds for easier drying. This nappy is washable at 60ºC and can be tumble dried on cool but drying time can be slow due to the hidden waterproof layer. Again, like the Kooshies Ultra this nappy is similar to a disposable and is very easy to put on. It can be used as an All-In-One nappy with frequent changing or as a two-part with a wrap for nights/travelling; boosters are recommended for nights and heavy wetters. Longer lasting than Kooshies Ultra; with care the Classic can last another child.
