Kissaluvs are neat fitting trim nappies. Fastening with a single row of poppers at the waist, Kissaluvs have a very good width range and are very adjustable and stretchy. The long tabs overlap for slim babies yet stretch to fit larger babies where other popper fastening nappies fail to fasten, and are good for chunky thighed babies. Although they can be slightly lower cut than some nappies , and you may get a builders bum if your child is tall, these do fit well, having stretchy elastic round the legs and waist giving very good containment and look very neat and slim when on. Boosters for heavier wetters may be needed, even so they are fairly absorbent between the lags and do take a while to dry.

This nappy is available in three sizes and two variations of unbleached ivory fabric: fleece (which is a cotton fleece, soft and fluffy like the inside of sweatshirts) or Combo :fleece inside/terry outside combination - Please note the manufacturers are discontinuing the Combo and we will not be able to buy more once our stocks have gone. We alos have stocks in Colours - coloured fleece outer with unbleached fleece inner,

The original lovely soft unbleached ivory cotton fleece washes and wears well and even in hard water remains relatively soft compared to other nappies and doesn't pill. The 100% brushed cotton surface is backed by cotton with a touch of polyester to add durability, and the knit construction ensures that only cotton touches baby's skin. These nappies are trimmed in coloured thread, purple for size 1 and green for size 2, which add to the very neat and cute appearance of these nappies.

I have also in stock a small number of Limited Edition Kissaluv Colours in all sizes of fleece - five pastel but strong colours that do not wash out: berry purple , sky blue, lemon yellow, melon orange, and lime green colours, with contrasting or unbleached inner. These colours are largely colourfast with minimal loss on washing, so can be washed with other coloureds or nappies. We have a fast moving selection of colours so regret we are unable to offer a specific choice, however please state on checkout if there are any colour options you prefer (or would like to avoid) and as we hold a good stock we should be able to match from the stock we have. From time to time other specials may appear.

The terry exterior Combo version is of a thicker quality more rugged slightly longer pile terry than chain store terry squares available here, and is thus slightly more absorbent than the fleece version. It is made of a knitted terry which gives it some stretch although it is a a thicker nappy than the fleece and so it doesn't quite stretch as far (although still very stretchy) and comes up a little bit smaller than the fleece. Again it is available in the lovely unbleached ivory colour, the loop pile is 100% cotton loops with a touch (less than 10%) polyester in the base for durability. Please note the manufacturers are discontinuing the Combo, and when stocks have run out we will not be able to obtain more.

Kissaluvs Size 0 is ideal for newborns where a neat, close fitting nappy is required from day 1 that is very good on containment. It has a unique snap-down front for umbilical cord area protection, so you do not have a nappy rubbing the cord area. Two rows of snaps give an adjustable rise, especially important for the fast growth of a newborn, Soft, stretchy elastic at the legs and back contains messes and floods.

The sizing and crotch width were designed especially for a newborn. Every baby is shaped differently, but in general, you can expect size 0 Kissaluvs to fit babies weighing 5 to12-15 lbs (less for very round babies, more for thin babies). Boosters may be needed after first few weeks, and it may be easiest to boost between the nappy and wrap. Suggested wraps for Size 0 include Stacinator So Simple Snap, XS or S Popo, XS or S Rikki, NB/S Nature Babies, NB or S Bummis Super Whisper Wrap.

Wash at 60 or 90, tumble dry hot.

Suggested wraps; Stacinator So Simple or Fleece, Air Rika, Rikki, Popo, Vento, Nature Babies, Imse Soft, or Organic, Pull on pants For the Size 0 for a small newborn, the Rikki XS or Popo XS or the Nature Babies Newborn/Small are usually the best fit.

Made of same cotton fleece fabric as the nappies with two layers of unbleached burly knit terry on top giving 3 layers in total = thick, absorbent, soft. It is slightly tapered for easy fit between baby's legs, and fits both Size 1 & 2 nappies, and can also be used as a stuffer for pocket nappies although it can be on the narrow side for this with some brands of pocket nappy, being 12-1/2" (approx 32cm) long, 5" (approx 13cm) at widest point. Thsse boosters are of random assorted unbleached or colour fleece with unbleached terry but obviously specify in the further information at checkout if you have any particular desires!
