New for 2008: Now with square cut tabs for easier handling and overstitching around the top, making a neat trim finish to the tabs. Improved and stretchier elastication at the legs gives a nice neat and snug fit.

Fuzzi Bunz are a unique (patented in USA) design made from a single layer of a high quality, lightweight 100% breathable polyester fleece, and a breathable waterproof fabric to prevent leakage. A microfibre insert is included in the price. The two layers form a pocket with an opening at the back in which the mircofibre insert is placed. You could as an alternative or in addition place a prefold or terry or even a shaped nappy into to gain the absorbency you need.

Ideally whatever you stuff the Fuzzi Bunz with should lay as flat as possible in the pocket, so that the elasticated legs make as neat and leakproof a seal as possible, care should be taken not to overstuff your Fuzzi Bunz as too much stuffing will pull the sides away from the legs. The Fuzzi Bunz fastens with two rows of poppers, making this a very simple to use nappy choice and ideal for adapting flat nappies for easy use, even by people not used to changing nappies.

When a baby wets, the urine goes through the layer of fleece and is wicked away and absorbed by the cloth nappy inside. The fleece almost immediately dries leaving your baby feeling dry even for long periods of time. You'll find the fleece tends to disperse the urine into the nappy well, and the nappy can get quite soggy without leaking yet the surface of the fleece remains remarkably dry.

Fuzzi Bunz tend not to wick, and if soiled it is easy to remove any poo and they do not usually stain. Fuzzi Bunz fasten with plastic poppers and are very adjustable to fit your baby's growing needs.

If you don't wish to use your Fuzzi Bunz as an All In One where the nappy is placed in the pouch, it can be used as a normal wrap simply by laying your nappy inside the inner layer of fleece. This might be handy initially with a newborn, where commonly the typicaly scrawny legs of a newborn means the Fuzzi Bunz may not be an especially good fit, but baby will soon fill out and grow into them. we don't generally recommend them for the first few weeks because of this, and advise it's best to wait a week or two till your baby looks chubbier so they fit well at the legs.

The insert included with your Fuzzi Bunz is rectangular and in two sizes Small for small Fuzzi Bunz, and M-XL covering the Medium, Large, XL and Petite Toddler sizes. . They give an absorbent but slim fitting nappy system. One insert is usually suitable for daytime use, you will need additional absorbancy for heavier wetters or overnight.

Because you change the Fuzzi Bunz as well as the nappy or pad you have stuffed it with each time your baby needs a change, this may seem an expensive system initially. However, as the Fuzzi Bunz and inserts dry very quickly, you'll find you can get by with a suggested quantity of perhaps 12-15 for a smaller baby and perhaps as few as 8 or 9 for an older baby, with a correspondingly greater number of nappies or pads to stuff with to allow for the extra drying time these might take. We recommend you change the whole unit each time you change your baby, since the fleece can tend to pick up the odour of urine if soaked for prolonged periods.

Microfibre absorbes between the fibres rather than in the fibres themselves as in cotton. It is correspondingly much lighter being a man-made fibre, and looks slim in use. Dries very quicky. Two sizes: Small to fit Small Fuzzi/Stuffables and L to fit larger sizes Medium, Petite Toddler, Large, XLarge.

Please note these are straight and not hourglass and as such are not as absorbent as the hourglass ones, below.

      Adjust the absorbency you need by positioning the insert in or partially in the pouch as required to cover the wettest zone. Additional boosters may be added if needed.

      Washing Note:

      This hemp product has been professionally washed and dried once, and further shrinkage may occur. It will need up to 8 more washings and dried before it is fully absorbent. When washing your hemp the first few times do NOT wash it with any fleece products. Hemp has natural oils in it and the oils can coat your fleece. After your hemp has been fully primed you may wash it with all of your nappies.
