SIZE 3 now at lower price s : £8.00 non Aplix and £8.50 with AplixThis Bamboo nappy is made in exactly the same style as the original Nappy Nation no fold terry but from soft white bamboo terry. Bamboo is surprisngly absorbent for its weight, more so than cotton weight for weight, and results in a slimmer nappy for equivalent absorbency. Each of the layers that make up this nappy is sewn on at one edge only, meaning that when the nappy is hung to dry, it exposes a larger surface area to decrease drying time - a common problem with bamboo is that whilst bamboo terry squares are relativly swift to dry, with a shaped and fitted nappy once the fabric is sewn in layers with elastic at the edges it tends to trap the moisture within the nappy. Reassembly of the nappy is simple, simply lay the nappy flat and the four flaps will easily lay into place on top, no folding necessary! Available in size 2, this nappy can either be used as a second size nappy to fit from 6 months to potty (18-20lb up to around 40lb). With five layers of bamboo between the legs, this nappy is absorbent but trim.This nappy may also be used as a One Size nappy, by folding the front over outwards and overlapping the tabs on top to reduce the height of the nappy. Secured with a Nappi Nippa for best containment, the end result is economical and slim for a one size nappy. For large babies, and night time for older babies this nappy is now available in Size 3 to fit from approx 35lb or 18 months. Ideal for night time as this nappy is nicely absorbent without being to bulky, and yet is plenty big enough for larger toddlers.As with all bamboo nappies, please take care to avoid overheating by washing at 40 or 60 and hanging to dry or tumble drying on low for as short as possible time.
