Bambeasy by Easy Peasy
Bambeasy is a nappy made in the UK by Easy Peasy Nappies to the same style as the Bimble and Bumble in soft long loop Bamboo terry (90% bamboo, 10% polyamide for strength), with a 100% polyester fleece inner layer. The nappy is two layers with a two layer flap that folds out to aid the drying process, and a fleece inner layer under which the flap can tuck. The size 0 (pictured previous page) is a little nappy is ideally suited to newborns and fits up to about 15lb (6.5kg) max, and can be easily reduced in height buy folding the front over outwards to make a smaller nappy for premature/small babies (or twins). Designed to fit underneath baby clothes it is slim and close fitting, as well as reasonably good on containment, yet the bamboo affords better absorbency although slimmer than the cotton terry Bimble. This is a great first nappy for newborns as it is so slim. Afterwards progress to the Size 2 or another one size nappy, or to a larger sized bulkier nappy with more absorbency. The nappy is secured with Nappi Nippas or pins (available separately), or is available with poppers. The nippa version will give best containment. Suggested wraps for pre-term/lightweight babies include newborn So Simple Snap, XS Rikki, XS Popo, for all other babies So Simple Snap, Motherease Rikki, Air Flow, Popo, Vento, Nature Babies, Imse Soft or Organic wraps, any pull on pant.The Birth to Potty (BTP) Bambeasy (pictured left) is designed as a birth to potty nappy and is made to the same style as the Bumble, having a removable snap in booster. Once removed, the front of the Bambeasy may be poppered down inside the fleece inner lining to reduce the height to make a smaller nappy to fit from birth. As the bamboo fabric is slimmer than cotton, this makes a less bulky nappy for a newborn, yet will also fit to potty (up to 35lb+/16kg+). Again this is available without fastening for use with a Nappi Nippa, or with popper fastening.Suggested wraps include So Simple Snap, Rikki, Air Flow, Popo, Vento, Nature Babies, Litewrap, Bumpy, Imse Soft, any pull on pant, wool or fleece wrap.Both these nappies are slower to dry than their cotton variants, however as the seams are oversewn rather than turned and topstitched, and the flaps open out they are quicker to dry than the Bamboozle. These nappies may be tumble dried, although in the interests of longevity it is not recommended that you dry for too long on too hot a heat (over dry) but remove as soon as they are dry, as this can affect the softness of this fabric and may also affect the loop pile for attaching Nappi Nippas to secure.Bambeasy Nippa 0 (up to l5lb)- £7.25
